Many beneficiaries under Micro Credit program have successfully changed their financial condition. With the change of the financial conditions of many of the beneficiaries, their business and project management skill also enhanced. In order to give them opportunity to extend their business and project, alongside the micro credit program, Rural Reconstruction Foundation has taken Micro Enterprise Loan -MEL.

Goal:
To provide financial assistance to the successful beneficiaries of the micro credit program in order to under them self reliant as established entrepreneurs.

Objectives:

  • To create new employment opportunities.
  • To increase production of local products.
  • Change living standards through higher income.
  • Uses of local resources.
  • To enhance efficiency of entrepreneurs.
  • To render them self reliant.

FATE HAS BEEN CHANGED OF JARINA THROUGH MICRO -CREDIT:

A very innocent as well as simple girl 'Jarina' by name of a village Noapara under Jessore district could not make much progress in her education. Every body love her, father, mother, relatives and neighbors. But in order to getting rid in the burden of the family, her father arranged marriage of Jarina at an early age with a boy Sahajan Mollah by name. Although, Jarina began her family life with hope and dream with a view to overcoming the appetite and poverty, but infact the 'Almighty God' did not allow her to enjoy such a desirable life.

Jarina gave birth five baby almost within a few years. At one side Jarina was passing her days with serious hardship and at this time she was very thoughtful and in darkness finding the new comers is in what way and how she will manage the food of her baby. At this moment one of the nearest neighbor of Jarina introduce her with a field worker off RRf Noapara branch. Having burned about the various advantage she include her name in Noapara Unit under Kalpona Mohela somitee 12September, 2000. She received Ist loon off taka 6000 in 2000 which she received for the purchase of coconut coir.

Jarina and her husband make coconut fiber from this coir for "JUZIM". Next year she received loan of taka 8000 and buy a machine for making coconut coir. Every year she received loan form RRF and enhanced her Industry. She has received total loan of taka 305000 from RRF. Now Jarina vacantly received 120000 taka. Jarina, her husband and another two children and 18 labors operate two machines. Her husband mainly handle purchasing and marketing. Now her net income taka 30000 per month. By this time she has purchased twenty decimal homestead lands at noapara pourshave at a price of taka 145000 and she rant one bigha land for store coconut coir. Her younger son secured from SSC Examination of 2008 and her only one daughter now in class nine.

Jarina respond a question" sir the present change of my fate is due to the contribution off RRF noapara branch who offered me a new life". Jarina also claimed that her prestige in her society has been up graded than before. As the daily income increased her living stranded has also been change gradually.
