Rural Reconstruction Foundation has initiated this program in order to improve the economical status of the rural poor communities through raising social awareness. This program is being run in 119 units under 20 districts.

THE GOLDEN MORNING OF AYSHA'S LIFE:

Aysha Begum is a very poor woman. She has no own land. Her husband Jafor Mollah is a professional day labour who sells labor in other people crop field. Some day he would not find any work and then he could not buy food. Their life was so miserable. They have two daughters and one son.

Aysha took membership of RRF Noapara Unit in Kalpona Mohela Somitee on 1st October 2000. She heard about the name of this development organization from one of her neighbor who inspired Aysha in joining RRF somitee. However, afterwards, she paid a visit to RRF Noapara branch office and become happy on observing their activities.

At first she took taka of 8000 and buys a cow at tk 5000 and her husband start hawkering of different items. But they didn't find remarkable happiness condition. After a couple of years Aysha had gone Barishal at her father house. Here her cousin Jahirul operate "Pira-ballon" making business. She realized this business is easy and profitable.Then Aysha consult with her husband and took tk 12000 from RRF and sell her cow at tk 10000 and start "piri" making industry. Aysha get to find her way her life. Aysha take

total tk 175000 from RRF and her present loan tk 40000. Now she, her husband, son and another three workers are operate her industry. Per day production 300 piri and its selling price tk 9000. Her net income tk 25000 per month.

In reply to a question Aysha said "Sir, we both the husband and wife are laborious and putting our effort as much as possible to make our business a success by offering better customer services. We are optimistic to repay the loan in full even before the stipulated time with a view to having big size of loan in near future.

Aysha informed that before joining RRF, her living condition was very poor even the quality of their daily meal was also poor due to meager income. But in last few years especially after making financial transactions with the RRF, the life style has been changed significantly. She arranged marriage her elder daughter with a big party. Her younger daughter read in class nine. She hopes, she will take loan over 100000 and established her industry in modern way at Noapara bazaar. She is model of her locality.
