Handicraft & Sewing Center
The Handicraft
and sewing center has been formed for the vulnerable women
as well as families who are not getting job and can not provide
their daily demand. With the consideration of the economical
status RRF took initiate steps to run this program so that
women can get the privilege to earn money through learning
and be self reliant. It has been started from 2001 and still
running.
Activities
are:
Tailoring: It is
a section where various product s are being produced including
nakshi, block print, and batik work with a view to provide
job to the idle people and earn money to be self dependent.
Without this some of the women are engaged to make costume/
dress for the sponsor children.
Nakshi:
It is an extraordinary work which help us to look up
behind. Here different embroidery work is done on different
dress. So that women can get the privilege to work here and
earn money for their family.
Training:
It is the extraordinary points of view to earn money through
learning different task. Always it is valuable experience
to work with different section. It is a section where women
were given tailoring training to build up their future.

and women are involved with this program. And also we have
five staff who are conducting and maintaining the all activities.
It is a productive
program where different costume is being made according to
the demand and sell. Its target is to provide job for the
vulnerable people who are jobless.

Output:
Different kinds of dress have been made according to the requirement.
In the year of 2009 our total costume production was 17097
(Seventeen Thousands Ninety Seven). All the dress was made
in the centre and sold with the authentic price. Without these
we have different types of Sari and also different types of
costume which is being sold with the exhibition.
